Air Commodore Arvind Srivastava, Consultant

An accomplished Aeronautical Engineer he served the Indian Air Force for over three decades and has multifaceted experience from Aircraft maintenance operations, Project Management, Capital acquisition cases at MOD and Technical Academia & Training. He has had exposure in technical facets of various equipment held with the Indian Armed Forces. Being in Defence Capital Acquisition at the Ministry of Defence, As DDG Technical( Air), he contributed technical appreciation in the decision making collegiate/ CNC of acquisition process leading to progress of multiple projects to final stages of acquisition under D&D, IDDM/Make (India)/Global category viz, NGCCM, Dhruvastra, LRSAM, Aeroengines for SU 30 and MiG-29 aircraft, Close in weapon system, High Power radar, MRO of Mi 17 V5 and AWACS etc for the Indian Armed Forces.

An innovative design and modernization of servicing facilities for self-reliance of the second line servicing of the vehicle fleet was set up in station under his guidance. Arvind led a team of professional instructors of 16 Officers and over 100 Air warriors to accomplish academic excellence in training of over 1000 air warriors for their maintenance certification operations on I & II-line servicing.

Arvind was responsible for maintenance Operations of Northern Air Force assets of Fighter aircraft, UAVs, Microlights (Virus) and Armament assets from Small Arms to High calibre Air to ground ammunitions, Air Launched guided missiles and armament stores.
